StillSecure Announces ProtectPoint Client-Owned UTM Service

Customers Using Fortinet and Cisco UTM Appliances Can Now Outsource Monitoring, Management, and Real-Time Threat Response to StillSecure
(Superior, Colo. – May 25, 2010) – StillSecure®, provider of secure network infrastructure solutions, today announced its ProtectPoint™ Client-Owned UTM managed security service. Customers who have purchased UTM appliances and are challenged by the time and resources required to effectively administer these systems can now outsource management to StillSecure. The appliance remains on-premise and StillSecure’s Security Operations Center (SOC) provides 24x7x365 monitoring and real-time response to ensure the highest levels of network protection. StillSecure currently manages the Fortinet® FortiGate and Cisco® ASA appliance lines, with support for additional third-party systems available in the near future.

StillSecure’s SOC analysts are instantly alerted to security events triggered by the customer’s UTM, and the necessary defensive actions are immediately initiated. If warranted, the event is escalated to the client. Identified threats are addressed on average within 20 seconds of initial alert and resolved within 45 seconds.

Regulatory compliance reporting is available to customers through RADAR™, StillSecure’s secure customer portal. RADAR provides complete visibility into security threats and actions taken. For existing ProtectPoint managed services customers who have also deployed a FortiGate or ASA appliance, integrated RADAR reports provide complete and comprehensive visibility into the organization’s security posture.
